SprocKids Bike Camp

The SprocKids summer bike camp is for riders ages 6 – 13 and is taught over 5 consecutive days for 2-hrs per day at the Hillsboro, Oregon stadium. The July 2007 camp was taught by Dr. Bud and his daughter Elisia.

SprocKids Manaual and materials, a school curriculm developed in Canada, is used and the riders get handouts and homework daily and each have a file folder. They maintain their folder over the 5 days and put their homework away at the start of class after review.

The camp teaches basic bike and maintenance skills in a group setting while having fun learning bike safety, healthy food for fuel, warm-ups and bike safety checks. During the last class, a graduation and team picture takes place and a SprocKids certificate is presented.
